Tomatin distilled this single malt whiskey on 25.01.2002 and matured it for nine years in traditional oak barrels, on 1 March 2011, the whiskey was transferred to former Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and finally bottled in 2016 after more than 14 years of storage to 2,520 bottles ,

Aroma: clearly ripe, red berries and mild honey
Taste: again the ripe berries, also the honey is present, in addition to light notes of vanilla and raisins - in the background spicy oak
Finish: intense fruit notes - reminiscent of fresh red jam
