One of Jameson's "The Whiskey Makers Series" bottlings - The Cooper's Croze is a traditional tool of a coaster that pulls the groove into the barrel staves for the lid of the barrels.
This bottling includes whiskeys stored in first-fill American Oak, exBourbon and exOloroso sherry casks.
Aroma: very fruity in the aroma - ripe fruit and sweet tones of toffee and vanilla - behind it spicy oak with distinct roasted aromas
Taste: again the fruits, then clearly the sherry influence, to nutty notes, toffee and vanilla are present again - in the background cinnamon and dark chocolate
Finish: long finish - vanilla and spicy oak are present
