Tomatin's most exclusive bottling is very luxurious - packaged in a large bag with carrying handles, the 44-year-old Single Malt presents itself in a high-gloss lacquered wooden box with Plexiglas inserts in a crystal decanter with extra plugs (with copper fittings) and two Tomatin glasses.
The first bottling in the Warehouse 6 Collection matured for over 44 years in a Spanish exOloroso sherry keg.
The circulation of this bottling is only 252 bottles - individually numbered.
Aroma: clearly plum and almonds, with some ginger and fresh pastries
Taste: Winter fruits and marzipan, with soft caramel and dark chocolate, roasted coffee in the background - almonds again
Finish: very long finish, the flavors are here again - especially the fruits and chocolate
