Every year, Douglas Laing surprises us with a limited edition of the Big Peat Christmas.
Everything is different this year!

The 2016 edition brings together for the first time single malt whiskeys from all nine Islay distilleries - including the single malt from the distillery Port Ellen, which has been closed since 1983!
For example, every sock on the fireplace of the fisherman from Islay on the label and the gift pack symbolizes one of the nine distilleries on Islay.

Bottled as usual in barrel size - this time with 54.6% vol. - and as always without cold filtration and without dyes!

Wurde eigentlich für nen Winterabend mit meinem Whisky-Kumpel gekauft.
Aber die ganze Aufmachung ist so liebevoll toll gemacht, dass er zu geblieben ist.
Zum rauchig zechen empfehle ich immer wieder Ardbeg TEN oder Laphroaig 10,
beides super Preis-Leistungs-Rauch-Klassiker!
