A'bunadh is Gaelic and means something like "from the origin" - this exclusive single malt whiskey matured in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled in its natural state - that means, without coloring and without cold filtering, in barrel strength, just "from the origin".
Aroma: a mix of different spices, with fresh chocolates and orange - clearly the sherry casks
Taste: full and creamy in the taste - at the beginning of orange and black cherries, followed by dried fruits, ginger and dark chocolate - over all notes of sweet sherry and oak
Finish: powerful and intense on the finish with bitter sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak
