An elegant 18-year-old Bunnahabhain from the Scottish Isle of Islay, distilled in 1997, stored in a single former Bourbon Hoghsead, bottled in the year 2015 by independent bottler Wemyss.
Aroma: glowing burlap and fried herring with salt and lemon, served with fresh coriander and crushed parsley
Taste: soft and oily in taste - like a white fish in salt crust over hot coals on the grill in a mint and lemon marinade
Finish: Heavy smoke and creamy salty butter
