This vintage bottling was stored exclusively in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
Aroma: clearly soft toffee and caramel, with fruity aromas of ripe apples and some kelp - a pleasant peaty smoky note above all
Taste: Now the peat smoke is very present, with spicy notes, especially black pepper - gradually develop fruity sherry notes
Departure: surprisingly soft on the finish - in addition to the spicy notes, a slight salt tone develops - smoky-sweet

Stark rauchig mit dem für Ledaig-/Tobermory typischen erdig-muffig-trockenen Grundcharakter. Hinzu kommt hier ein toller, warm-fruchtiger Olorosso-Sherry, der dem Ganzen eine schöne Komplexität verleiht.
