The second edition of the powerfully strong sister of Blended Malt Whiskey Scallywag by Douglas Laing!
After bottling in 2015, the finest exSherry Butts and exBourbon Hogsheads were combined and bottled undiluted for this limited edition, this time with a significantly higher sherry barrel portion!
The malt whiskeys are among others from the distilleries Macallan, Mortlach and Glenrothes. A real Vatted Whiskey - so it does not contain Grain Whiskey!

Limited edition - only 900 bottles for the German market.

A powerful and wonderfully fruity-spicy malt whiskey.
The perfect companion for balmy summer evenings or impending bad weather days.

Color: deep, dark color - extracted from the used, selected Spanish Sherry Butts
Aroma: carried by a rich fruity character, spicy notes of cinnamon and ginger - in the background fresh vanilla
Taste: mouth-filling with fruity notes of apple and rhubarb, warm pastries and a strong coffee note, again the vanilla and sweet raisins
Finish: long and fruity on the finish with dark chocolate and roasted oak
