A 10-year blended Scotch Whiskey aged in First-fill exBourbon American Oak Casks and then aged for a second time in exRye whiskey casks.
The result is a complex whiskey with many sweet and fruity notes - but above all with an excellent spicy note of rye.
The alcohol content of 46% vol. has a very positive effect on the whiskey, so the individual flavors come to the fore more clearly.
Aroma: a lot of oak and charcoal - behind it clear aromas of apple and caramel, some honey - then spicy with cilantro, cinnamon and rye
Taste: very spicy in the taste, clearly again oak and rye, paired with coriander, pepper and cinnamon - behind it slightly sweet tones of malt and vanilla
Finish: dry and pleasantly spicy on the finish
