The Scottish Speyside Distillery fills this single malt whiskey in small batches in barrel strength without cold filtration and without dyes - as the name a'Bunadh (Gaelic: from the origin) promises.
Aroma: clearly juicy raisins and dark chocolate, with dark, ripe fruits, especially black cherries and blackberries
Taste: an intense mix of juicy oranges and chocolate - accompanied by notes of ginger and again the dark fruits
Departure: slightly oily, the oranges are still present - then light notes of cinnamon and some ginger
