A blended Scotch whiskey with a long history! Created for the first time in 1886, this was Douglas Laing's first whiskey when they acquired the brand in 1948.
The label proudly depicts "Scotland's Lion Rampant" - the landmark of the Scottish kings for centuries - in honor of the origin and high quality of this Blended Scotch Whiskey.
The barrels used for this Blended Scotch Whisky are carefully selected and blended. It uses only rich single grain Scotch whiskeys and an exceptionally high level of aged malt whiskeys from former bourbon and sherry casks.

Nose: starting with toffee and spices, then fresh citrus flavors and some licorice
Taste: sweet, ripe fruits, again the toffee and a clear vanilla note
Finish: the vanilla carries the finish - sweet with spicy tones

Einer der Besten seiner Preisklasse

Ein feiner, leichter Scotch, für jedermann und zwischendurch, süffig und auch für Anfänger oder Weinbrand Freunde geeignet. In dieser Preisliga (fast) ohne Konkurrenz, Spontan fällt mir da nur der Irische Allrounder Jameson ein, der aber mehr Charakter besitzt...
