Distilled in 1997, this single malt whiskey from Scottish highland distillery Clynelish matured in an exSherry Hogshead for over 18 years, before independent bottler Wemyss bottled the cask in 2015 to only 274 bottles in cask strength.
Aroma: as in the waffle bakery! warm, soft waffles with fresh applesauce and melting ice cream - with some Szechuan pepper and salty almonds behind
Taste: distinctly spicy with hints of camphor and cedar wood - then fruity notes of apples with vanilla cream, strawberries and cherries
Finish: warm spicy finish with a sweet fruit note to the end

Wie der Name schon sagt...
Tatsächlich ein Sommer-Whisky. Dieses notfalls auch ohne richtigen Sommer. So kommt wenigstens flüssige Sonne zu uns.
Geht tatsächlich auch toll am Nachmittag - wenn man danach nichts mehr vorhat...
