The classic from the Scottish Speyside distillery Glen Grant - a fruity-sweet single malt, very well balanced and soft in the taste.

Aroma: clearly vanilla and toffee, with fresh apples, some herbs - some smoke in the background
Taste: pleasantly fruity-sweet in the taste - apples and vanilla are very present, in addition a gentle peat note and much malt
Finish: dry on the finish - some peat, some toffee

Für sein Alter unglaublich, neben der Fruchtigkeit warten doch auch einige Aromen auf ihre Entdeckung. Wer den torfigen, rauchigen Whiskey sucht, ist fehl am Platz, wer die fruchtige Milde schätzt kommt auf seine Kosten. Ein toller Einsteigerwhiskey, der aber auch für den Kenner noch interessant ist. Der Preis ist zudem mehr als angemessen. Aus meiner Sicht ein Must in jeder Bar.
