One of the oldest bottlings of Glendronach!
This single malt whiskey matured for over 47 years since 24.09.1968 in a former Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead, before the cask was bottled in January 2016 to only 301 bottles.
Aroma: intense, full aromas of dark syrup, ripe plums and plums - with elegant herbal aromas and cigar smoke
Taste: strong sherry notes, again the ripe plums and the syrup, accompanied by bitter orange and dark espresso - some eucalyptus and pine needles
Finish: warming, very long finish with a lot of sherry and light herbal tones
