This single malt from the Glenallachie distillery matured in a former Sherry Butt for seven years, before Douglas Laing fills the barrel for the new Provenance series in November 2015.
Aroma: very fruity with aromas of fresh jam, cake dough and spices - barley and sherry behind
Taste: full body with intense notes of ripe fruit, especially orange - honey behind it and sweet fruit dessert
Finish: a lot of sweetness from cereals on the finish - again the fruits and oranges
