For 20 long years, this Glenlivet matured in Speyside, Scotland, in a single former sherry butt, before the independent bottler Signatory bottled the cask on 03.11.2015 at only 585 bottles.
The result is a glorious old-school glenlivet - creamy, fruity and delicate with a warming finish.
Aroma: intense sherry aromas with a lot of plum and raisin - rich, thick and strong - some tobacco and orange in the background
Taste: The decadent sherry notes are also present in the taste - in addition to the plums, raisins and oranges - behind it develop notes of chocolate, oak and some smoke
Finish: very long finish - first the sherry influence, then more and more herbs - especially mint and camphor
