A single malt whisky from the Scottish whisky island Islay, matured in former sherry casks - unfortunately the name of the distillery can not be named for legal reasons.

Nose: intense peat smoke, with aromas of ripe dark fruits - then old waxed leather and some tobacco
Taste: a lot of fruit, especially dried plums, dates and oranges, with lots of peat! - smoke develops behind it and you can taste its proximity to the sea - notes of iodine and some tar
Finish: long, warm finish - fruity and smoky

Guter Raucher von Islay

Caol Ila Rauch, was für mich heißt, dass der Rauch wie stark mit Paprika Gewürze verbrannte Chips schmeckt, zusammen mit deutlichen Sherry Einfluss. Der Whisky an sich ist noch recht jung, der Alkohol hat noch einen guten Punch. Dennoch, das Plv ist spitze
