Exclusive single cask bottling from Teeling for Germany.
The single malt whiskey matured in September 2001 in an ex-Sherry cask before being bottled in January 2016.
Aroma: at the beginning clearly dark, ripe fruits and sherry - behind it then develop aromas of fresh vanilla and light roasted aromas of nuts and sesame
Taste: again the influence of the sherry barrel - the dark fruits and the vanilla are again present - and in the background nutty notes with a light, pleasant oak note
Finish: long on the finish - much drier than the taste suggests - pleasantly balanced
