Bunnahabhain in perfection - this single malt whiskey matured for 18 years in an exBourbon hogshead, before Wemyss bottled the cask in 2015 at just 216 bottles.
Aroma: at the beginning like a bag of fresh chewing gum, followed by aromas of lemon sorbet and vanilla cream, behind elegant-fine peat smoke and the scent of a blown candle
Taste: like fresh fish over hot charcoal - then sweeter - like a dessert with citrus cream, lime and coriander
Finish: mouth-filling, syrup paired with warm smoke
