A 19-year-old exBourbon Hogshead from the Ismore distillery Bowmore bottled Wemyss in 2015 at only 269 bottles.
Aroma: lots of sweetness - aromas of vanilla, sugared strawberries, oranges, elderflower syrup, lemons and barley
Taste: now comes the peat, paired with salty caramel and milk chocolate - with a little bit of water, notes of mint, lemon jelly and red currant emerge
Departure: strong and spicy at the beginning, then an elegant sweetness comes quickly
Single barrel filling - edition of 269 bottles
