The third edition of the coveted Premium Blended Scotch Whiskey Islay Time - once again Donald Hart of Meadowside Blending is responsible for this whiskey.
This Blended Scotch whiskey contains several Islay whiskeys - including a full barrel of the 2007 distillery, Caol Ila, which was put into an exPedro Ximenez barrel for a few more months of storage.
The result is a very smoky whiskey - very soft and almost creamy in the taste with a lot of smoky sweetness.
The Batch III contains 1,800 bottles.

Süffiges, leicht rauchiges Stöffchen. Deutlich lieblicher durch die Nachreifung als bei Batch 2. Zugegebener Maßen nichts komplexes, aber ein netter Abendunterhalter, wenn es günstig, trotzddem noch vernünftig und mit leichter Rauchnote sein darf.
