At first, this bottling was only available in duty-free trading in the 1.0-liter version, now this elegant single malt whiskey has made it into the standard range of the distillery.
The Little Bay matures in three different types of cask - in former sherry casks, in refilled, former Bourbon barrels with new bottoms and lids and in refilled american oak hogsheads - then the barrels are mated together and matured in small oak barrels.
Aroma: plenty of sea salt, clearly roasted coffee, light citrus and oak flavors
Taste: spicy with juicy Christmas cake, sweet brown sugar and again the oak
Finish: still a light sweetness, fruchitge and smoky notes - very elegant
