70% exSherry Butts and 30% exBourbon Hogsheads were used for this bottling

Aroma: typical Springbank - you can smell the damp Dunnage Warehouse, where the barrels were stored - then violets, vanilla and cocoa - lots of fruit, especially pears and candied fruit
Taste: strong and very well rounded - vanilla and peppery notes are present, behind them cooked apples, pear, orange marmalade and tropical fruits
Finish: Long finish with noticeable peat fire, licorice, oak and salted caramel

Ach, jedesmal ein Genuss! Der hat einfach alles: ein bisschen Rauch, Sherrynoten, frische Früchte, eingelegtes Obst, Schokolade, Bitterkeit und das Springbank-Herbstlaub-Aroma

Interessante, atypische Rauchnote mit Substanz, die nicht zu agressiv rauchig ist, sondern so, daß sie gut zum tragen kommt, mit interessanten, süßen Früchten, Blütenstaub, getragen von Vanille und dunklen, öligen Anklängen, die perfekt von diesem Torfrauch umspielt werden.
