Tomatins 14-year-old to get acquainted in the small trial size!
The single malt first matured in classic former bourbon barrels and then received a one-year finish in Tawny port wine barrels.

Aroma: fresh melon with honey, lots of red berries and baked apples, a strong toffee flavor, butterscotch, sweet honey and dark chocolate
Taste: clearly fruit and nut - peach, apricot, mango and plum, walnut and pecan nut
Finish: fresh fruit salad and red berries

Ein toller würziger süsser Whisky, der mit seinen 46% Alkohol recht kräftig daherkommt.
Deutlich zu schmecken sind die Portweineinflüsse, sehr fruchtig dabei, angenehm warm, nicht übermässig belastend. Ein prima Whisky für Einsteiger und Liebhaber von nicht-rauchigen Wiskys, die nicht im Sherryfass gelagert sind.
