First stored in first-fill exBourbon barrels, then aged for at least 18 months in smaller (Quarter Cask) barrels of American white oak.
Aroma: to start with, the Arran-well-known citrus aromas and sweet spices of cinnamon and vanilla
Taste: clear pineapple and fresh apple pie with roasted brioche - again the citrus and malty notes
Finish: long and balanced with spicy notes, some lemon and vanilla

Nicht ganz so rund wie die erste Edition, aber trotzdem ein sehr feiner Whisky. Mild und daher gut für Einsteiger.

Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Vollmundige Süße, einfach ein hervorragender Geschmack und bei 55,2 % kann man noch mit der Wasserzugabe spielen um seine optimale Geschmacksrichtung einzustellen. Ein herrlicher Scotch zu einem sehr guten Preis.
