Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2009 50% vol. 0,7l
Aroma: incredibly fruity - soft, ripe gooseberries, with fresh pineapple and mango - then sweet, red apples, grapes and a little peach - in the background a little mint, sweet vanilla and roasted oak - dark plums and dates
Taste: malty with a pleasant sweetness of honey, candied almonds and toffee apples, plus nougat, banana and ginger biscuits - some sherry, some oak
Finish: fruity-warming on the finish with a pleasant malt note
