Murray McDavid makes a big secret about this Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey - which regions or even distilleries are united in this Vatting will not reveal - just that: the Malt Whiskeys all matured in exBourbon Barrels before Murray McDavid married the barrels and in ripened fresh exPort wine and exPedro Ximenez sherry casks.
Aroma: soft and spicy, ripe, red berries, with strawberries with green pepper - then creamy vanilla, leather and ash
Taste: again the strawberries with shortcrust pastry, spicy with clearly cinnamon, smoked ham and again the ashes
Finish: long, warm finish with a lot of spice and smoke
