Den habe ich vor Jahrne zum Geburtstag bekommen. Durch ihn bin ich auf die rauchige Seite gekommen :-)

Für meinen Geschmack ziemlich heftig und unbeherrscht, wie ein Jungspund, der nicht weiß wohin mit seiner Energie. Wahrscheinlich ist er auch tatsächlich etwas jung. Auf jeden Fall viel Rauch. Mir gefällt er so ganz gut, es muss aber zu der Situation passen, bei einem Abend mit gepflegten Gesprächen drängt sich dieser Whisky in den Vordergrund, wie ein nerviger Grünschnabel. Besser passt er, wenn der Abend sowieso schon locker und eher lustig ist.

Hat alles was man(n) braucht. Schönen Rauch, schöne Süße und gutes PLV da Fassstärke.

Aroma: Intensive Rauchnoten, erinnert an Räucherschinken, Meersalz und Seetang.
Geschmack: Anfangs stark und sehr intensiv auf der Zunge, dann kommen die Aromen von Pfeffer und mineralischen Gestein durch, jedoch schwinden diese dann im Abgang und werden von einer komplexen Süße ausgeglichen. Mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser wird ihm die Schärfe genommen und die Aromen treten besser in den Vordergrund.
Abgang: Langanhaltend und würzig süßlich.

Ein echter Genuß für alle Rauch-Liebhaber! Wunderbar ausbalanciert zwischen Rauch und Süße, rotz des hohen Alkoholgehaltes kaum Schärfe, auf der Zunge eher ölig.
