George Grant filled the Glenfarclas 105 in 1968 for the first time only for his family and friends.
His son, John Grant, motivated him to sell this version in barrel size for sale as well - and indeed the Glenfarclas 105 became one of the distillery's most popular bottlings.

In an elegant gift pack, the barrel-strong bottling presents itself together with a miniature of the 15- and 21-year-old Glenfarclas.

Glenfarclas 105
Aroma: complex with a lot of sherry, very creamy with nutty aromas, with toasted bread, honey and coffee tones
Taste: soft and spicy - you can recognize the nuts, dark fruits and sherry - some chocolate
Finish: long finish - the spice and nuts are still present

Glenfarclas 15 years
Aroma: strong sherry aromas with dark fruits, mint and oak
Taste: more and more sherry - again the fruits, especially plums, dates and raisins - then nutty notes
Finish: very long finish - sherry and nuts stay

Glenfarclas 21 years
Aroma: apples, pears and oranges - with some sherry and mint
Taste: very soft with lots of barley, fruits again, with vanilla and more sherry - some smoke
Finish: long, soft finish - again the vanilla, some oak
