A premium blended whisky from the Japanese Chugoku-Jozo distillery - bottled at the age of 18.
The barrels of the Chugoku-Jozo distillery are stored in caves and disused railway tunnels.
Nose: pleasantly soft and fruity, with apricot, peach and a little pear in the foreground, with aromas of warm carrots, some oak and roasted barley
Taste: distinctly barley malt, white pepper, again the carrots - then sweeter with cream, almonds and marzipan
Finish: mid-length finish, spicy with oak tones, the pepper and malt come back again
