This whiskey was also distilled twice and stored for 10 years in fresh exBourbon barrels, but this bottling then experienced a second maturation in dark exRum barrels. Bottled as well as its predecessor in Small Batch Premium quality, without cold filtration and without the addition of dyes.
Aroma: rich flavors of tropical fruits from the Caribbean - especially passion fruit, with vanilla and butter toffee Taste: reminiscent of sweet rum, again the vanilla, with ginger and lime, in the background apples, mango and orange Departure: rich and spicy on the finish, again clearly a buttery vanilla note
