Royal Brackla 12 Year Old 40% vol. 0,7l
The majority of the production is used for the blended whiskeys from Dewar.
For 12 proud years this single malt whiskey matured in oak barrels, with a finish in exOloroso sherry casks.
Aroma: Wheat cookies with chocolate, subtle ginger tones, green apples and roasted almonds
Taste: now clearly the Oloroso sherry barrel - raisins and gentle, spicy notes, in addition to the chocolate - reminiscent of a fruity cream cake!
Finish: the chocolate remains, the apples come back - a bit dark fruits and a hint of oak

Angeblich der Konigsfamilie ihr Liebster, allerdings sind dann wohl die Geschmäcker eben doch sehr trivial. Nicht schlecht, aber eben kein edler feiner Tropfen.

Welcher Royal Brackla auch immer der Hof Whiskey gewesen sein mag oder ist. Dieser 12 jährige ist es vermutlich nicht. Hat mich enttäuscht. Ich mag lieber komplexe, weiche Whiskeys.

sehr würzig. schmeckt nach Weintrauben,Orangen. Abgang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig

Sehr mild beim Trinken aber dann dieser würzige und angenehm wärmende Abgang. Ein Genuss.
