An unusual Caol Ila aged 18, bottled in 2015 by independent bottler Wemyss.
Aroma: like a hot coal stove in a cobbler's room - plus many herbs - clearly white daisies, myrtle, heather and lavender
Taste: reminiscent of sushi with seaweed and fried pork glazed with maple syrup
Finish: ground white pepper, then salted lemon and smoked fish
Single barrel filling - edition of 340 bottles
