Glenlivet Founder's Reserve 40% vol. 0.7l 2 nosing glasses
The Founder's Reserve of Glenlivet is the successor to the 12-year-old Glenlivet. the bottling is reminiscent of the founder of the distillery George Smith, who opened the distillery in 1824 - hence the Georgian blue on the bottle.
Aroma: Dates and plums aromas rise first, then apricot and orange, some toffee and raisins - in the background chocolate, cinnamon and lovage
Taste: fruity, as the aroma suggests - pleasantly sweet, now more toffee and chocolate, some anise and apple pie
Departure: a creamy toffee note is present, again chocolate and raisins - some oak and barley - warming

Ganz schwacher Glenlivet Whiskey. Da haben sie sich keinen gefallen mit getan, diesen Founders Reserve als neuen Whiskey im unteren Preissegment anzubieten. Kann ich nicht empfehlen.
