The first of three rounds of the Smugglers Series of the distillery Arran.
With this filling Arran celebrates the time of the black distillery in the 18th and 19th centuries.
In this bottling are united single malts of different barrel types, such as exBourbon barrels and exPort pipes, different vintages of the distillery, both ungetorfte, as well drunken kegs found their way into the bottles.
The elegant gift box represents a book whose pages have been so scented that the bottle, which is modeled on the old bottle shape of bygone days, fits.
Only 8,700 bottles were bottled.
Aroma: multi-layered - dried fruits, some BBQ, with aromas of flowering plants, some sea and beach
Taste: initially warming peat notes and Christmas spices, then develop notes of dark sherry and ripe plums, in the background, apples and pears
Finish: long finish, full in the body with a surprising amount of smoke
