An 18-year-old Macallan from Speyside, Scotland, bottled in 2015 by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in the Speymalt range.
Aroma: distinctively tropical fruits - especially papaya and mango, with sweet sherry notes, honey and some toffee
Taste: initially spicy, then fruity notes of ripe bananas, followed by raspberries and grapefruit
Finish: Medium long, soft finish with a pleasant fruity sweetness and light oak tones
Barrel Type: First-fill and Refill Sherry Hogsheads
