Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold 43% vol. 0,7l
The philosophy behind this is that at cold outside temperatures the fresh distillate in the copper condensers cools down (as with most Dalwhinnie distillers, in the open air) and thus the connection of the distillate to the copper is short - this affects the Taste of the later whiskey.
The result is a heavy, oily single malt whiskey.
Nose: soft and smooth with a hint of sweet honey and toffee, fruity notes of peach and apricot - with a hint of mint and smoke in the background
Taste: again the honey, then it is fruity - reminiscent of a fresh fruit salad with sugar, to a light spice, heather, again some mint and smoke
Finish: long, oily finish, the fruits are still present, with sweet raisins and a distinct malt note

Schmeckt mir sehr gut . Ausgewogen und schön mild. Habe es auch mit dem Tiefkühlfach probiert. Einfach mal probieren, ein sehr interessantes Geschmackserlebnis!
