Product information "The Corriemhor Cigar Reserve 46% vol. 0,7l"
Master Blender Richard Paterson created this whiskey many years ago, and after sales ceased, Peat's Beast Ltd. took over. the brand and created a single malt whiskey, which matured in former sherry and bourbon barrels for at least eight years - even if he bears no age on the label.

A beautiful malt whiskey, without cold filtration and with a great variety of flavors, which harmonizes wonderfully to enjoy a fine cigar.

Aroma: clearly figs and roasted almonds - pleasant fruity-sweet aromas
Taste: fruity again, now blackcurrant, milk chocolate and soft butter caramel
Finish: fruity-sweet on the finish

Gut ausbalanciert - passt gut zu einer guten Cigarre aus Kuba oder der Dominikanischen Republik. Könnte etwas mehr Reifezeit vertragen.

Für den Preis 10/10.

Wurde mir empfohlen nach einem tasting. Da ich noch nie von ihm hörte wurde ich aufmerksam. Kaufte ihn sofort und war obwohl ich eig. Auf suche eines neuen rauchigen war, sehr überrascht und positiv gestimmt nach dem ersten Dram. So süffig wie der ist ging noch das erste viertel der Flasche von dannen :) Wirklich top. Wer Dalmore mag wird sich hier ein wenig Zuhause fühlen, obwohl dieser definitiv einen eigenen vollen Charakter hat.

although I normally don't buy single malts from bottlers who do not disclose the distillery, the packaging intriqued me. a good, drinkable dram - the sherry comes through nicely with bits of chocolate and berries. if you consider the price, you can add another 1/2 star

Ich war ausserordentlich positiv überrascht von diesem Whisky. Abseits der großen Namen tummeln sich viele sehr gute aber wenig bekannte Whiskys. Dieser gehört absolut dazu.
