Octomore Edition 07.2_208 five Year Old Scottish Barley 58.5% vol. 0,7l

Bottled with a phenol content of 208ppm, this is one of the world's most peated malt whiskeys.
Bruichladdich distils this whiskey in memory of the old Islay distillery "Octomore", which was located above Port Charlotte.

Aroma: syrupy with an incredible amount of smoke and fruit - especially red berries, with warm apple and pear cake, a little peach
Taste: despite the intense smoke and peat notes very velvety - lots of fruit, now clearly cherries, earth and raspberries - in the background sweet caramel and honey, some oak
Finish: incredibly long finish - with lots of peat and fruit - a pleasant sweetness
