Ein Ledaig ist ja ein getorfter Tobermory. Hierbei finde ich immer wieder beeindruckend, dass Ledaig das Thema "Rauch" so interpretiert bekommt, dass ich einen Ledaig immer herausschmecken würde.

Tolle Alternative zu den Islay Malts! Deutlich fruchtiger, dadurch ergeben sich mit dem Torfrauch zusammen ganz andere schöne Geschmacksnuancen.
Dennoch: Ich habe hier zum Vergleich einen Ledaig 7J abgefüllt von Signatory, der sowohl deutlich weicher (trotz jüngerem Alter) als auch noch aromatischer und ausgewogener ist. Daher nur 4 Sterne für die Standard-Abfüllung.

Guter Insel Mull Whisky - für mich deutlich bekömmlicher als der Tobermory. Jedoch weit von Islay-Whiskys entfernt, wenn man "Ecken & Kanten" erwartet.
