Tomintoul (pronounced "Tom-in-t'owl) is located in the Scottish Speyside.
The distillery is known for its harmonious, gentle single malt whiskeys.

This 12-year-old received a second maturation in exOloroso sherry casks.

Aroma: complex aromas of vanilla, almonds, raisins and sherry
Taste: soft, fruity notes, elegant oak tones and delicate sherry notes
Finish: soft and pleasantly long on the finish

Eine zu unrecht nicht viel beachtete Distillery. Der 12jährige aus dem Corerange
überzeugt mit dem typischen ex-bourbon gereiften Geschmack von Honig, Wood
und Taninen. Ein guter trinkbarer Vertreter dieser Art. Kein Spitzenwhisky aber sein
Geld wert.
