A 16-year-old Tamdhu from a Refill Hogshead, Douglas Laing selected this 1998 single malt for his Old Particular series and filled the cask in August 20104 to only 291 bottles.
Aroma: at the beginning fresh and pure with a lot of vanilla and sweet barley - reminiscent of the American Cream Soda
Taste: sweet with clearly ripe banana and mixed fruit salad - again the luscious vanilla
Finish: Medium long finish, still sweet and fruity - a little orange

Keine 5 Sterne. Warum?
Der war zwar wirklich lecker. Aber im Vergleich mit anderen Tandhus doch sehr verhalten. Im Rahmen eines Tasting-Abends ziemlich am Anfang zu bringen. So kommen dann die wahrlich gehaltvollen Vertreter später.
