Lossit perfectly reflects the characteristics and typical peatiness of the Islay whiskys - with delicate notes of almonds, pears and pepper.
Nose: soft smoke aromas with distinct malt - reminiscent of warm porridge with pears - in the background smoked ham and roasted oak
Taste: again the smoke and the malt - now more dominant, spicy notes of ginger and fresh vanilla pods, some oak
Finish: long and warming on the finish - the smoke is retained, the pears come back

So könnte ich mir einen guten frühen Whisky vorstellen. Wenn man die Historie (London-Market, Entwicklung der Fassreifung usw.) berücksichtigt, wurde hier hervorragende Arbeit vom Team der "Lost Distilleries" geleistet! -salzige, maritime Noten in Nase und Geschmack; Fruchtnoten (eher Zitrus) allgegenwärtig, aber auch tiefgründiger Rauch+Torf. Süße Mandeln.

Mittelschwerer, gelungener Blended Malt. Spürbarer Rauch, mit süßlicher Pfeffernote, insgesamt lecker.
