Matured in heavily charred Casks, the Talisker Dark Storm is far smokey and spicier than its buddy named Talisker Storm.
Originally bottled for duty free trading.
Nose: clearly smoked ham, black pepper and a spicy sharpness - ripe, yellow fruits and malt
Taste: at the beginning a lot of oak, a lot of smoke - then red, ripe fruit, some citrus and fresh honey
Finish: very long on the finish, again the typical Talisker pepper, in addition to the honey and roasted nuts
