The distillery Tobermory has always called their peated Whiskys Ledaig.
The 18-year-old is the latest bottling of the distillery on the Scottish island of Mull - matured in Spanish ex-Sherry casks.

Nose: at the beginning ripe berry fruits, raisins and sherry, then spicy with much smoke
Taste: fruits and spices go hand in hand, licorice and cloves are present, some sherry and again the peat smoke
Finish: short finish, warm and spicy

Fruchtnoten von Sherry und dunklen Früchten unterstützt von einer angenehmen Rauchnote. Im Geschmack kraftvoll mit einer Sherrynote und angenehmen Rauch, eventuell etwas Kaffee. Der Abgang langanhaltend und wieder der Rauch, etwas schärfe wie von Pfeffer.
Für Fans der rauchigen Whisky schon eine Empfehlung wobei der Rauch nicht aufdringlich ist.
