Kilchoman 100% Islay 5th Edition 50% vol. 0,7l
The fifth bottling of Kilchoman 100% Islay was produced with barley grown specifically on the Farm Distillery. With only 20ppm phenol content of the 100% Islay is pitched much lighter than the Kilchoman Machir Bay and shows so well the intense fruity sweetness of Kilchoman single malt. The bottling is a Vatting of 5-year fresh and refilled bourbon barrels and is 50% vol. Alcohol, naturally unchillfiltered and without dye, bottled.
Aroma: light and fresh with subtle peat smoke
Taste: elegantly light with peat smoke and sweetness
Departure: long and pure in the finish, the smoke is still present - impressive for such a young whiskey
