A Kentucky Straight Bourbon of the old school, matured in heavily burned barrels of American white oak for at least six years.

Aroma: a light sweetness, some toffee and roasted oak, noticeable vanilla and citrus
Taste: full body, reminiscent of the sweet notes of a cigar box, spicy and creamy - again the toffee
Departure: unusually long on the finish - again spicy and again the roasted oak

Unverdünnt kommt mir der Alkohol zu sehr durch, mit etwas Wasser aber ein sehr schöner Bourbon der meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt.
Schmeckt dann voll, weich, süss mit den typischen Karamell und Vanillenoten.

Sack und Asche, der hat echt Feuer, aber im positiven Sinne, sehr, sehr Mundfüllend, viele, viele Aromen, die ordentlich präsent sind, wärmender, recht langer Abgang und das gute Gefühl...
... sich nicht verkauft zu haben.
Für Cola oder anderen Mischflüssigkeiten einfach zu schade, pur ist er ein wahrer Genuß.
