A 32-year-old single grain whiskey from the North of Scotland distillery with a slightly unusual story.
Distilled in 1972, the barrel was bottled in 2005 - the bottles were forgotten and sold to Rest & Be Thankful in 2015.
These filled the whiskey on 06.03.2015 on their own bottles, so that here a distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2015 whiskey is only 32 years old ...!
Aroma: pleasantly soft on the nose with noticeably fresh vanilla and blossom honey, some oak and lovely herbs
Taste: soft and mouth-filling, again the vanilla and honey, very creamy with a slightly spicy note
Departure: long and balanced on the finish with a harmonious sweetness
Hard to believe that this is a Grain Whiskey!
