Amrut surprises with an exceptional single malt whiskey.
For this bottling, first filled Oloroso sherry casks were shipped from Spain to India.
The sherry was then added to fresh orange peel and stored in the barrels for over two years - after which the barrels were emptied and filled with Amrut Single Malt for a second ripening.
The result is an elegant malt whiskey, the oranges have only a subtle, but notable influence on the whiskey.
(Naarangi is Hindi and means orange)
Aroma: clearly dried figs and a little orange - after a while, more and more fruity aromas develop
Taste: full body, syrupy - fruity with a balanced orange note
Finish: slightly dry on the finish, a light sweetness, supported by oranges

dezente Orangennoten und viel Sherry Perfekt abgerundet Langer Abgang Kein typischer Inder Sehr empfehlenswert !
