Kilchoman Machir Bay is a smoky and complex single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay in Scotland. Produced and bottled by Kilchoman Distillery, this whisky is a true representative of the island's unique terroir and distilling traditions.

Kilchoman Machir Bay is a natural and authentic whisky made from the highest quality ingredients and without artificial coloring or cold filtration.

This 46% whisky matures in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and has a rich and complex flavor profile that will delight any whisky lover.

The name Machir Bay comes from eionem beach near the distillery. For the bottling of Kilchoman Machir Bay 5-6 year old whiskies of the distillery were used.

The barrels used are exBourbon Barrels and exOloroso Sherry Butts.

Der Machir Bay ist ein Whisky von Kilchoman, der ein exzellentes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Er ist sicher nicht so komplex wie seine Vintage Brüder oder die 100% Islay Schwestern, aber ein wunderbarer Whisky nach einem anstrengenden Arbeitstag.

Erstaunlich welch hohe Qualität Kilchoman mit dieser doch recht jungen Standardabfüllung inzwischen erreicht. Von der Jugend merkt man in durchaus positivem Sinne die Kraft und die Spritzigkeit. Sehr lecker.
